“Come on~ little guy you can do it” Nauka egged on, licking her lips and staring excitedly at 'Moving Box 2.0' (name not official)

After giving it another jolt of controlled electricity she waited anxiously as the little metal box shook and trembled as every little gear and cog began to gyrate; soon the wheels began to spin, and it was mobile.

“Y~OHOHO~WHOO~! It's alive again! I'm a genius-whoa!” Nauka cheered but quickly grabbed it as it was once again on the verge of falling off the table.

“Never make the same mistake twice, life lesson number 1 little buddy” Nauka taught.

“Lady Nauka? Now that you are in a better mood, perhaps it is time to complete another quest?” Serenity interrupted her victory.

“In a minute! I still have notes to take, and so many ideas to fulfill. If I can make it move on it's own who knows what else I can make it do!?” Nauka said.

“But Lady Nauka, our resources are growing slim, it has been a few days since your last quest, and we are literally scraping the bottom of the barrel as it is” Trinity informed.

“I suppose a break is in order, very well. I shall prepare post-haste” Nauka agreed.

Dressed in her formal best though she opted for a navy-blue dress with matching colored high heels, and black leggings, her hair done in a bun that resembled a budding rose with a gold pin keeping it steady. Lastly her lab-coat was fresh from the laundry and gone were the smells of her last outing.

They left her manor and once again set out to the town to investigate any new possible quests to be had, and upon reaching the bulletin board they were pleased to see new options available.

“Well if there's one thing this town has, it is that there is always something to do” Nauka was pleased.

“Indeed my Lady...look the pudgy oil man has increased the reward for his favor-” Serenity began.

“If you remind me of that foul man's request one more time Serenity, I will have you do it in my stead...with your tongue!” Nauka warned.

“Noted...in that case how about helping a construction crew rebuild a house that was recently blown up?” Serenity suggested.

“I won't dirty my hands with grub work Serenity” Nauka said.

“Don't you feel even somewhat responsible?” Serenity asked.

“T-that could have been any blown up house it's...more common than you think” Nauka stammered.

“According to this; members are warned that a foul smell of sex permeates the air” Serenity.

“Trinity, did you find me anything worth while?” Nauka chose to ignore Serenity.

“I have my Lady, it appears as if a rogue Azure Slime has been troubling merchants and travelers along the road, and wishes for someone to either marry her, or have her removed in another manner” Trinity explained.

“Sounds easy enough, we can do that much” Nauka said.

“You are making a habit of expelling others out of their homes Lady Nauka” Serenity said.

“Don't remind me, anyways let us attempt this quest!” Nauka declared pointing at the paper.

“...Did you want one of us to grab it for you?” Trinity asked.

With paper in hand Nauka entered the guild and slammed the quest paper on the front desk eliciting a yelp from the hostess who was looking the other way.

“Yipe! U-um-how can I-oh it's you?” The ginger haired girl realized.

“Yes it is I Lady Nauka daughter of Seretique, genius...” Nauka began but once again realized the lack of interest everyone had.

“...Right well we appreciate your enthusiasm to help the populace...Nauka, I'm sure over time the rest of the town will feel more appreciative” she promised.

“*Sigh~ yeah-I suppose...just give me permission” Nauka turned gloomy.

“Approved...good luck” the ginger girl waved good-bye as they left the guild hall.

“According to reports the Azure Slime is usually spotted south of town a few miles away, how are your wings my Lady?” Serenity asked.

Nauka had already removed her lab-coat, and handed it to Trinity. Nauka's dark purple bat wings stretched and flexed finally in the open after a long time hidden in her coat.

“Good thing I prefer dresses with an exposed back, but I must admit it has been a while since I flown” Nauka replied flapping her wings to stretch them out.

With her wings stretched she lead her Polimana maids to the sky to save themselves some time.

They landed in a dirt path where the town stood a few miles away.

“You know I must admit, it is a small, petty town with people who are...less than savory but the light of the sun makes it looks quite adorable from a distance. Look! I can even see my manor...how come no one visits if they can see it from this far” Nauka said.

“Perhaps they have better things to-eh~or they are simply too intimidated by your presence, and refrain from bothering you” Serenity said.

“Yes! Perhaps you are right, ah~ it's not easy being so noble” Nauka had her ego nourished for the day.

“Where shall we start looking lady Nauka?” Trinity asked.

“Hm~perhaps we won't have to look very hard...” Nauka said pointing at the blue object ahead of them.

The target was already spotted pooling out of the brush and leaving a trail, her hair a trailing waterfall that waves side to side down to her base. Her body shapely and round in all the right places, but her frown and worried expression was holding back her beauty, turning it into pity.

The three and the Azure Slime spotted a wagon heading into town, and she was quick to approach it.

“Home~? Home~...” the Azure Slime repeated.

“Uh-n-no thanks I'm busy” the merchant riding the cart replied ignoring her chanting and moving faster to avoid her.

A small group of adventurers came next, and the Azure Slime also approached them.

“Home? Home~” she repeated.

“W-we uh, don't really have a home you know” the male swordman replied.

Hearing a response other than no, the Azure Slime gave a faint smile and moved closer to the man.

“Man~be attached~be with~Azul~?” The Azure Slime was hopeful.

“U-um~n-no thanks I'm sort of-” he began.

“He's too busy to be dealing with you!” The Magical Girl in their party blurted out pulling him away, and dragging the rest of the party to do something else.

The Azure Slime's smile slowly drew back into a frown, her wavy slimy hair now regressed, straight and droopy.

“Well the description fits her perfectly...well let's do our job now” Nauka said.

“Lady Nauka, I know you're not a social butterfly-” Serenity began.

“And neither are you if I recall” Nauka retorted.

“Ignoring that, but perhaps some tact is in order. She seems to have bad luck as it is” Serenity said.

“Considering she has been at it long enough to create a problem enough to be posted on the bulletin at the guild. I believe going easy on her would be best” Trinity said.

“In other words, no explosions necessary Lady Nauka” Serenity said.

“Ugh! You make me look like some sort of merciless dominatrix...I already have a sister that fits that description you know” Nauka said approaching the Azure Slime.

The Azure Slime glanced to her side spotting Nauka and shrank back pulling away into the woods.

“Wait-wait I'm not a magical girl no need to run from me!” Nauka quickly assured.

The Azure Slime paused ready to listen to her.

“So~ what brings you here...um~” Nauka began.

“...Name? Azul~...home~?” The Azure Slime Azul repeated.

“You keep repeating that...surely there's a river or stream for you to rest your head on isn't there?” Nauka replied.

“...Home~lost...Home...my home~” the Azure Slime was starting to feel worse.

“Are you lost? Is that it? I know your type aren't that intelligent, but even your kind can remember where you live” Nauka said.

Azul shook her head, and left for the forest.

“Hey where are you going!? Come back here” Nauka repeated following Azul deeper into the woods.

Her two maids followed suit, Azul ignoring all of Nauka's demands until they came across a clearing and with it; a pond.

“...Oh! Oh dear this is...this sucks...” Nauka was surprised.

The pond was littered with debris, the blue pristine water now dulled and fish-less due to reckless littering from past merchants and adventurers.

“Home...gone~taken away~need to find...new home” Azul explained.

“I suppose a small pond like this would not be cared for, or even noticed by the populace, and so with the water dirtied she would naturally find somewhere else” Serenity began.

“Unfortunately she can't travel very far either, the season we are in means the warm temperatures will linger for some time, the nearest water source would be too far for her to travel to” Trinity said.

“And so~ this complicates things, not to worry. As a genius this problem will be resolved in a matter of moments! Trinity my coat please?” Nauka said.

Trinity approached her Lady as she shuffled through one of it's pockets and pulled out a large flask.

“...I always forget how deep your pockets can be Lady Nauka” Serenity said.

“Here get in this flask and I'll find you a new home” Nauka said.

“Home...you have~home?” Azul asked.

“I do, I know of a second pond on the other side of town, we'll take you there” Nauka said.

“You~bring Azul home~?” Azul's hair popped back to it's wavy, and rushing waves, her body almost glistening with joy.

“Sure we can-wait! What are you-wha~cold~!” Nauka cried out as she was hugged by Azul.

“Hug~Azul~happy~new home~!” Azul cheered covering Nauka in slime before she willingly went into the flask.

“Ew~ I'm all gooey~” Nauka whined.

“But you smell like blueberries now” Serenity replied.

Nauka paused, silent as she recalled all the smart-ass remarks Serenity has thrown at her.

“...Yes...and thus we completed our quest, and we must celebrate right?” Nauka said slowly turning to Serenity.

“...Lady Nauka?” Serenity felt a sudden dark omen.

“Since I don't pay you, how about I repay you by honoring our friendship with...skin-ship?” Nauka began to walk towards Serenity, arms outstretched and fingers wiggling.

“P-Perhaps we shouldn't-” Serenity began.

“Give me a hug~” the Slime covered Nauka squeezed Serenity before she could escape.

Given the fact that the slime was too sticky for them to fly properly; the team had to walk back to town. Trinity given the task of holding Azul in her flask and attempting to hitch a ride from any travelers willing to risk staining their carts.

“I will remember them all for ignoring me, Serenity take note!” Nauka growled under her breath as another cart refused to help them.

“Considering your lab-coat is the only thing that's not covered in slime I wouldn't advise me attempting to grab it to retrieve your notepad Lady Nauka” Serenity replied.

They reached the guild staining the floor with their slime and displayed Azul still in the flask, a smiley face present in the viscous blue goo in the bottle showing Azul's contentment.

“Great...here you go” the Ginger attendant presented them with their reward.

Nauka acquired 50 Cyrunes!

“This would be barely enough to cover someone to clean my dress you know” Nauka pointed out.

“But it is enough to purchase groceries to eat for a bit” Trinity said.

“Right, but before that, you! Tell your guild leaders, and the rest of the town while you're at it, to stop dumping their trash on ponds and empty fields! We all have to share this world, the least we can do is keep it clean! Understood!?” Nauka scolded.

“I-I'll let them know-thank you!” The ginger stammered.

They left the guild in slightly better spirits as enough slime fell off them that they could fly properly to the pond to drop off Azul. Upon reaching said pond, Nauka pulled the cork and plopped Azul in front of the pond.

“There you go, this water is much fresher than the one littered” Nauka presented.

“Water...cool~clean~” Azul admired.

“Well if that takes care of everything let us be off, come on you two I feel an hour long bath is in order...maybe two hours” Nauka said.

The girls flew off leaving Azul behind, she stared at them reaching a mansion and then stared back at her pond.

“Home...Nauka...Home?...Azul's Home...” Azul murmured to herself before turning around and heading towards the manor.
Returning to the world of Praxis once more we find our struggling protagonist in the midst of kicking out yet another person from their home. Is this the only way she'll ever get famous? Will this grant her any friends, the only thing for sure is that; hijinks ensues.

Second part of the story and Nauka is climbing little by little, I really liked this mission, especially, Blue seems a nice enough character, I liked it, and Nauka, even with her ego, gave a message that I think is excellent " we all share this world ", really a beautiful and very conscientious advice, the end gives me curiosity, so much that I will have to read the third part right now :)
